hahahaha the past few days have been rather eventful, because 3 out of 4 days of the long weekend saw my parents in China and my brother staying over at his friend's house; hence i had the house to myself! =)
On friday i spent the day with Perng and watched The Dark Knight again because we felt like it, HAHA. ('I'm gonna make this pencil disappear!', gotta love it when Sharona imitates it hahahhaa). I also made a trip to Somerset and Orchard, the area, which strangely enough, i've not visited for about 2 months. OMG right?
Saturday: BEACH VOLLEYBALL!!!
Headed back, ate some pasta, and i took a bus ride that lasted 1 hour and 15minutes! Nicenap. =)
Sunday: CAKE BAKING AND JIANYING'S CHALET!!
HAHAHA this is our running joke. i was teaching Mindy and Teo mahjong but they were rather preoccupied with Friends, which i had made the mistake of letting them watch on DVD.
I had gamed, and our Mr Teo said joyfully, HEY LOOK AT MY ANIMAL FARM! Then he took out from his row,:

okay for those who don't know mahjong, the Rooster and the Mouse (along with cat and centipede) are supposed to be taken out before the game and replaced with other tiles.
Hahaha we reached Jianying's chalet an hour late but nobody really cared lah. We were so friggin excited about eating the cake! but we had to be satisfied with playing volleyball and eating curry first. Our cake happened to be the ONLY cake there! OMG. i thought Daniel had bought an actual cake so we thought ours could be just a standby. Who knew, it took on such a big role!

I just feel kinda... regretful that we lost our first match to BW though. i only played the 3rd set! i guess our team needed some warming up. Anyway, i wasn't exactly star player but i'm damn psyched about my on-form-ness when i played setter today! damn shuang lah

But yeah, i think i'm damn lucky to have even gotten a chance to spike or play front row, because in the IHC market, the males dominate and females just set or receive balls at the back row. tsk gender inequality. HAHAHA okay anyway, good for the vball girls who played today: mabel, huizhen, fiona, cheri, serene! Good game, girls!

at one point during the matches Eileen and Sharona came down to say hi, and wanted to ask when was my next match. i asked the peeps at the main table, like, 3 times. Didn't get any answer. i BLEW UP and screamed, 'WHERE ARE THE FIXTURES!!!!!'
I think my eyeballs were rolling and my face looked malformed.

it was EXACTLY like that time during PW lesson, my group got BULLIED by the other groups because we were 4 people while some other groups were made of 5. we threw our bags down at a table to 'chop' place, then that group of 5 came and tried to make us move. I unwillingly agreed and moved to a half table.
It wasn't enough for them - KOKWENG and JAMES took Gideon and Nity's bags and put them on the TEACHER's TABLE and started sniggering.

A few days ago i was in such a joyous mood because i realised the implications of my job in the cca. Only Till today did i realise that it wasn't a matter of how many hours i made them train with me under rain or shine, it was what Coach called, 'Amount of EFFECTIVE training'.
I can't even be certain of how much improvement they have gotten with my doing this to them because i can't holler and point out their mistakes while being so aware that i'm not the Elite. I mean, c'mon, i wasn't even Main 6 in cchms last year! Some people say it's more of a 'Wo bu Ru Di Yu, Shei Ru Di Yu' situation because other than coach and the t i/c, there really isn't someone who can oversee the trainings so often.
I love my job, really. I just worry that it isn't for the best interests of the cca. AAAAH i also don't know what i mean lah.

Beach Volleyball cum Class Learning Journey Day!
Was actually not intending to go for volleyball at Sentosa due to the usual money matters. i had expected loads of vballers to turn up, like Jaclyn, Eileen, Shimin, Kong, Zixuan, etc. AND YOU KNOW WHAT WAS THE HEAD COUNT???

Can you believe it - it was my first time eating at Carl's Junior (or whatever way you spell it)! I wasn't hungry though, just ordered Beef Chili Cheese Fries.
Which tasted pretty great but i couldn't finish them anyway so i gave the leftovers to Mateusz hahaha. Okay this doesn't mean that i think he's the dustbin.
'Raced' the guys to Sentosa in cabs (and lost). Then somehow we stopped at Siloso beach and didn't go further to Palawan where there was supposed to be some celebrity volleyball tournament. Played a while, challenged some strangers, had some rain and.... finished by 5. hahahaha
Met the Class at City hall to walk to the Turkish Restaurant!
Didn't really notice the name of the restaurant though, but i know it's at Shaw tower.

Been reminiscing about the Secondary 4 days, and i know this is kinda late, but i went back to CCHMS last friday! To see Mdm Tan EC lah. but we forgot to take pictures with her!
hahaha we insisted on walking one round around our beloved lake, which seemed to have been cleaned up abit in the past few months, but the feeling's just different i guess. Maybe it's the HEAT WAVE THAT'S BEEN KEEPING US INDOORS.

Bought a new watch today,
and watched Get Smart with Daniel and Seetow after Tess and Teo left for Church. The movie is damn nice! was laughing like crazy at Daniel's favourite Chocolate Stick part (HAHA) and Seetow getting damn high coz Anne Hathaway was damn hot.
